RICHARD ("RICK") AVEY is an Attorney-at-law qualified in Trinidad and Tobago since 2000 and a Solicitor of the High Court of England and Wales since 1998. His areas of expertise include corporate law with an emphasis in finance, particularly secured lending and structured finance as well as securitizations and derivatives. His other area of expertise is insurance law having worked at the Caribbean's largest insurance company, a public company, as its General Counsel for 12 years.
